fluffy, silky, shiny and more...

I have never really been one for fashion, I just like to wear what makes me feel good, be that a flashy evening dress or a onesie. Over the past few months I have developed a real love for textures in my outfits - most probably due to all of the chilly weather we have had here!

Here you can see what I wore out at the weekend to a dinner date with the boyfriend;

Velour blazer - £5 from the Clothes Show
Charcoal disco pants - £15 from boohoo.com
Cuffed boots - Christmas present (£19.99 from New Look I believe)


Being on the more generous side of 'slim', I was a little apprehensive about purchasing disco pants, but I just couldn't resist the texture! But actually, I do actually think they are rather forgiving - so a big thumbs up to boohoo!

    Definitely! Whilst the AA ones look lovely I can't justify spending that amount of money on them! :)

    The pants look great on you. I have both AA and dupes and whilst I find AA's are very comfy and stretchy, the dupes are a great alternative. I wish I went to the clothes show now. Maybe next time :)

    Love the disco pants, they're such a nice colour! I'm definitely obsessed with disco pants at the moment. I wish I could afford to buy the AA ones but dupes will have to do for now! Might have to check out boohoo's offerings.
